What a crazy week!

Hi all – feels like I’ve been gone a while, but it’s only been about a week!  I have some really fun news to report, however – I have made my first real sales on both TpT and TN!  Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over to those who purchased my work – I really hope you enjoy it and it works for your students!  For those who haven’t purchased yet, you can check out my stores by clicking the buttons to the right!

Now onto my crazy week.  Have any of you ever subbed in a classroom where something continuously happens and you just legitimately have no idea how to deal with it (or how to feel about it for that matter)?  I know that sounds awfully cryptic – I’m sorry – and I’d love to elaborate, but I really can’t without breaching the confidentiality of that classroom and the students involved, but I swear it floored me.  It wasn’t something I ever thought I would have to deal with while subbing elementary school and because of that, I had no plan in place in my head in case it were to happen.  I was very happy to have another teacher in the room with me to help me figure it out!  I now have a procedure in place that follows all the rules and regulations and I feel much more comfortable handling this specific situation in the future.  Has anything like that ever happened to you?  How did you handle it?

Also, one of my very favorite teachers ever – who also just happens to be my cooperating teacher from student teaching – has had a lot going on lately and I’m subbing for her a few times this coming week.  I’m keeping her (and her family, for that matter) in my prayers and I’d love it if you would too!  I have learned so much from her since I met her and I wish her only the best.  She is super organized and just a really fantastic teacher and role model for me and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

I’m currently working on a few preschool units that will be posted on TpT and TN soon, so keep your eyes out for those babies!  Also, I’m working on getting some freebies up on here for those who might be interested.  Hope you’re all doing well!

Love to you all!
